Chris Smith - Head Brewer
The man behind the beer at Burleigh Barrels is our Head Brewer, Chris Smith. Having brewed at home for a decade, he became a full-time brewer about 6 years ago before we snapped him up.
Known for his love for Hazy Pales and dislike of cider, when he's not brewing our beer, he's often found drinking it with locals in the Tap Room.
OUR BREWERY
Our fully automated, 1,500 litre brewery is the heart of Burleigh Barrels. Capable of pumping out up to 350,000 litres of beer a year. We brew all of Burleigh Barrels' beer on site and offer brewery tours to those who are keen (by request only).
